Gentle Monster Veggie debuts a vegetable-inspired 2026 foldable eyewear line, 10 styles in all, and the campaign visuals star aespa member Karina, the company said.
Gentle Monster said the 2026 Veggie collection translates vegetable shapes and bright colors into the frames, with stem-and-leaf details along the temples and playful silhouettes across the series.



The brand said the collection balances structural stability with convenience, turning natural forms into original folding-frame mechanics and practical everyday wear.
Gentle Monster described the designs as a reinterpretation of folding eyewear, where frames echo vegetable contours and temple details are inspired by stems and leaves.
Gentle Monster said the campaign visuals and stills are led by aespa member Karina and staged in a vacant field, using surreal imagery to turn everyday produce into a vivid visual language.
In the film, Gentle Monster said Karina appears as a country girl fixated on tomato aesthetics, eating tomatoes and falling through a sea of tomatoes in scenes meant to be both charming and attention grabbing.
Gentle Monster Veggie design and details
The 2026 Veggie line includes 10 foldable frames, Gentle Monster said, each built to fold compactly while keeping the frame geometry intact for everyday use.
The company said design cues range from vegetable-shaped silhouettes to engraved temple motifs that reference stems, leaves, and seed patterns, giving each pair a distinct character.
Gentle Monster Veggie pop up events and installations
To mark the launch, Gentle Monster said immersive pop up spaces will open in six cities worldwide, featuring a giant tomato installation at the center of each site and fantasy vegetable creatures called Veggiemon that create a whimsical ecosystem.
The brand said some locations will include interactive photo areas where visitors can pose as different Veggiemon characters and share their images on social media.
Campaign star and retail rollout
Gentle Monster said the visual campaign stars Karina of aespa, who plays a tomato-obsessed character in surreal sequences designed to amplify the collection’s playful spirit.
Gentle Monster Veggie will go on sale in Hong Kong on June 6, the company said, available through Gentle Monster’s Hong Kong online store and its physical shops in the city.
