Justin Bieber popup debuts Skylrk in Meatpacking

Justin Bieber popup opened a temporary Skylrk store in New York Citys Meatpacking District on Thursday, drawing fans who queued overnight and forming long lines on opening day, the brand said.

The event marked the third time the label staged a physical retail experience and its first appearance in New York. The store uses a signature futuristic palette: mint green walls, streamlined furniture, large LED installations, and interactive projection to create a technology forward shopping environment.

The Skylrk space is meant to do more than sell clothing, the brand said. Through its layout and interactive features, Skylrk aims to present a full lifestyle concept that ties apparel, footwear, and audio products into a single brand world.

Justin Bieber popup stocked the latest apparel, shoes, and accessories from the collection, including loose fit hoodies, cargo style jeans, Shield sunglasses, low top sneakers, and rubber slides. The most sought after item was a plaid boxer short style that Bieber wore during a recent Grammy performance, which sold out quickly after the item went on sale.

The popup also launched a new audio line under the Skylrk Audio name, led by the Domo portable speaker. Skylrk said the Domo supports up to 15 hours of play time and can link multiple speakers for synchronized sound across devices.

Skylrk said the store offered a limited run of 100 units of the Domo speaker at the popup, while Targets SoHo store was allocated 600 units. The brand said the small quantities are expected to sell out quickly.

On site, visitors could try the Skylrk Audio products in a dedicated listening area. A store employee who was not authorized to speak publicly said customers were spending time testing speakers and trying on apparel before buying.

The event included a food and beverage collaboration with Blank Street, which served a limited matcha chilled drink combining white chocolate, pistachio, and sea salt, the companies said. The partnership was positioned as an extension of the lifestyle experience the brand aims to offer.

Skylrk described the New York popup as part of a planned rollout of physical events to bring the brand to customers directly. The company said future drop locations and online availability will be announced on its official channels.
