Maison Margiela fragrances introduce The Scentsorium Collection, six unisex eaux de parfum designed to probe the untamed parts of the human soul, the brand said.
Perfume can say what words cannot, the brand added, slipping past defences at the least expected moment to reach a deeper place. The Scentsorium Collection frames six scent chapters that move from the quiet longing of orange blossom and fig, to the compressed fury of leather and tobacco, to saffron that insists on celebration even at the edge of despair.
Life as performance, and the selves we rehearse
We rehearse so many versions of ourselves that the original, untamed self can grow silent. The Scentsorium Collection is presented as an invitation to meet that buried part directly, the brand said, drawing on the Maison Margiela Artisanal line for its creative starting point.
The collection includes six unisex eaux de parfum, each built from a single, elemental raw material and reassembled through deconstruction and recombination to expose a pure emotional state, Maison Margiela Fragrances said.
Six elemental selves, revealed by scent
Each scent begins with a core raw material that is stripped back, refined, and recomposed to make a single expressive chapter. The idea is to let ingredients speak plainly, creating dramatic tension between materials while honoring artisanal technique, the brand said.

Tailoring couture rigor into every drop
The production follows the same exacting approach used in Maison Margiela couture, the company said, breaking materials down as if tailoring a garment, then rebuilding them to reveal structure and nuance.

Raw materials are reduced to their most primitive form, concentrated by heat and distillation, then recomposed into new scent narratives. The goal is to express each material directly so that the tension between notes becomes the fragrance, the brand said.

Ch.1 Blaze of Stillness
Have you ever felt completely still while a small fire burns within? Ch.1 Blaze of Stillness captures that paradox. Orange blossom keeps a clear, luminous top note, fig is condensed into a dense supporting accord, and soft suede leather provides a tactile base. Smell and touch align to form hope suspended in breath, the brand said, naming this the gentle but fierce untamed emotion.

Ch.2 Silent Fury
Sometimes silence is more terrifying than a shout. Ch.2 Silent Fury stacks deep leather, the gritty spices of cardamom and nutmeg, and the mineral smoke of tobacco to articulate a long-held pressure. The scent aims to make the olfactory sense the most honest, reaching the untamed core of anger.

Ch.3 Anguish and Awe
[UNVERIFIED: Ch.3 Anguish and Awe] reconstructs devotion through concentrated rose, bright fruit accents, and supple leather. It moves between lightness and gravity to capture the vulnerable hunger that can be the most compelling of untamed emotions.

Ch.4 Tender Defiance
Ch.4 Tender Defiance channels rebellion in a soft register. Licorice is refined into a metallic thread, fir balsam yields a cool, lingering resin, and a smoky accord coils through the structure. The elements keep distinct identities while composing a composed tension that insists on being felt.

Ch.5 Delight in Despair
Even at the lowest point, find a reason to celebrate. Ch.5 Delight in Despair lifts sharp papyrus greenness against layers of softening saffron to navigate the razor edge between despair and joy. The fragrance is meant to stir the two extremes that together reveal an untamed stubbornness to keep living fully.

[UNVERIFIED: Ch.6 Fit of Folly]
The most absurd choices can be the truest expression of self. Ch.6 Fit of Folly stacks multiple patchouli extracts to create a shifting foundation while mineral musks add clarity. The two materials loop and spiral to produce a kinetic, almost dizzying effect, the brand said, celebrating unrestrained, ecstatic freedom.

A crack that carries past and present
The bottles pair a rectangular outer glass silhouette with a rounded inner cavity and a slim metal sprayer set beneath a clear square cap. Each bottle is pierced by a single crack motif so light refracts like a prism through the glass, Maison Margiela Fragrances said, citing early 20th century liquor bottle shapes as inspiration.
Prices for the 75 ml bottles are listed at HK$2,950 each, which is approximately $378 before tax, the brand said. Maison Margiela Fragrances said the Scentsorium launch aims to reconnect wearers with a direct emotional honesty through scent.
