Dyson HushJet Mini Cool arrived in Hong Kong with a retail price of approximately $114, the company said.
The Dyson HushJet Mini Cool is a pocket size portable fan designed for wearable, table top and handheld use, the company said. The unit weighs 212 grams, about the same as many smartphones, and Dyson lists a battery run time up to 6 hours on a single charge.

Dyson said the HushJet Mini Cool uses a digital motor that spins up to 65,000 RPM and produces a high velocity HushJet air stream with peak wind speeds of about 25 meters per second. The fan offers five speed settings plus a boost mode for extra airflow.
Design and noise reduction
The HushJet Mini Cool continues Dyson 27s minimalist industrial design, built around a 38 millimeter cylindrical core that the company uses in its Supersonic hair dryer and PencilVac cordless vacuum. The narrow diameter is intended to concentrate engineering and design into a smaller form factor.
Dyson said a star shaped nozzle changes the airflow cross section to reduce turbulence at the source, lowering high frequency noise. The outlet can rotate, which the company says makes the fan safer around long hair when worn and easier to hang on clothing or accessories.
Use modes and ergonomics
The product supports wearable, table top and handheld modes. When returned to its charging dock the fan stands upright and occupies a small footprint on a desk, Dyson said.
Availability and price
Dyson said the HushJet Mini Cool is available on the Dyson Hong Kong online store, at Dyson experience stores in the city and through major consumer electronics retailers. The official Hong Kong retail price is 890 HKD, which converts to approximately $114.
Dyson 27s U.S. online store briefly showed the model as sold out earlier, the company said. Availability may vary by market and by color option.
