The Cintrée Curvex case is the brand’s most identifiable silhouette, with a barrel-shaped profile and continuous curved surfaces that wrap from the dial to the case sides.
Franck Muller said the form was a turning point in watch design because it curves harmoniously in every direction, not only top to bottom. The brand added that achieving the shape required extensive study to find a single spherical focal point where all curves meet.
Four exclusive 2502 QZ models for Hong Kong and Macau
The new Cintrée Curvex 2502 QZ series is offered in stainless steel with a compact profile: 20.1 millimeters wide and 27.1 millimeters long, the brand said. Every element, from the case and caseback to the sapphire crystal, dial, and hands, follows the same complex curve.
Franck Muller is releasing four dials in the 2502 QZ family: a classic silver sunburst with polished applied numerals, a pastel blue dial, a soft pink dial, and the Color Dreams variant with carefully hand-painted, multicolored numerals. The company said these four iterations will be sold in strict limited quantities in Hong Kong and Macau only.
The Color Dreams dial continues Franck Muller’s tradition of playful numerals, executed here with manual painting to ensure color saturation and finish. Collectors often value these hand-finished details for their individuality and visual impact.
According to Franck Muller, the watches combine the house’s aesthetic DNA with contemporary finishing and precision assembly by experienced watchmakers. The limited-edition release is targeted to collectors in Hong Kong and Macau, the brand said.
