The 98th Academy Awards concluded Sunday in Los Angeles, with “Yi Zhan Zai Zhan” (One War Again) winning six awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, making it the nights biggest winner.
“The Sinners,” which led the ceremony with 16 nominations, won four awards. Michael B. Jordan earned Best Actor for “The Sinners,” defeating favorite Timoth e9e Chalamet and Leonardo DiCaprio to claim his first lead-actor Oscar. Jessie Buckley won Best Actress for “Hamnet,” also her first acting Oscar.
The animated feature “Kpop獵魔女團” won Best Animated Feature, and its song “Golden” won Best Original Song, marking the first time a song produced by a South Korean K-pop group won an Academy Award.
