Football Fashion Pop-up: Hong Kong Designers at DX

Football fashion pop-up brings the energy of the pitch into the streets, and the DX Design Gallery is staging a limited exhibition that treats soccer as sport, culture, and a lifestyle connecting communities, the gallery said.

The pop-up, titled “Fashion Kickoff,” uses footballs rhythm and stadium energy as a creative prompt, extending the game into fashion, design, and everyday streetwear.

DX Design Gallery said the temporary space features local labels that reinterpret athletic heritage, sustainable clothing practices, jewelry, fragrance, and curated souvenirs aimed at shoppers and design-minded visitors.

Brand spotlight: SOL

SOL, founded by Lois Tien, plays on the pronunciation of “soul” to signal the brand’s focus on high-quality, comfortable casual wear made from sustainable yarns and regenerated fabrics, designed for busy urban women who favor a slower, considered wardrobe.

Heritage maker: Leung So Kee

Leung So Kee, established in 1885, is one of Hong Kong’s longest-running umbrella makers, known for a lifetime repair service that the company describes as a commitment to quality and craft.

Illustration and souvenirs: HONG KONG D

HONG KONG D began as a travel platform that explores local culture, from neighborhood shops to temple festivals, and now offers themed souvenirs such as postcards, calendars, and posters illustrated with the founder’s impressions of the city.

Art and installation: COXPER

COXPER, founded in 2018 by Wong Yuen-sang (黃潤生) and Lee Hiu-hei (李曉熙), works in copper to create thematic installations intended to engage the senses and evoke emotional response through material imperfection and tactile surfaces.

Vibe ・ Sometimes

The studio’s folding-screen collaboration with artist Poon Sing-wai (潘星瑋) uses a cross-shaped structure to rethink spatial dimension, with swallow motifs that trace seasonal rhythms from spring light to the autumn equinox, forming a quiet meditation on the passage of time.

Indie perfumer: AINLA

AINLA, founded in 2021, is a small Hong Kong perfume house that blends art and scent, with each perfume taking at least a year of handcrafting and development; in 2025 the brand opened a storefront on Ma Wan Island to share its compositions with visitors.

As the World Cup season approaches, the football fashion pop-up offers a way to immerse in how sport and style intersect, and to discover design ideas and curated items from Hong Kong makers.

Dates: May 1 to July 20, 2026; Hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily; Location: Ground floor pop-up, DX Design Gallery, 280 Tung Chau Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon (Sham Shui Po is a dense commercial and manufacturing neighborhood in Kowloon).

Visitors should expect limited-run items and installations that translate football motifs into wearable and collectible objects, the gallery said.
