Blancpain Ladybird Colors gains a new Nude Moka shade that adds a layered, earth tone to the collection and emphasizes a quietly warm femininity, the brand said.

The new Nude Moka draws on the textures and tones of leather, cashmere and natural wool, blending sand, terracotta and coffee hues for a color that is more present than beige and softer than black, Blancpain said.
Design details: dial, markers and strap
The Nude Moka finish extends to a matching iridescent crocodile strap and the dial. Roman numeral hour markers use a two tone gradient that fades from a lighter center to a deeper outer ring, creating added visual depth.
The collection continues to use the signature Nacre perlée mother of pearl dial, prized for its fine natural texture and color shift that can show green and pink over different lighting. Blancpain noted that Nacre perlée makes up less than 2 percent of available mother of pearl, and most shells yield only one or two dials, so each watch has a unique pattern and hue.
Complications, setting and craftsmanship
Moonphase display has long been one of Blancpain’s signature complications. In the Ladybird Colors series the moonphase is depicted as a female face with closed eyes, long lashes and a small beauty mark, a motif the brand has used since the 1980s.
The Nude Moka is offered in two gemset versions. One dial features two interlaced rings set with 70 diamonds, while the other uses a snow setting technique with an additional 152 diamonds clustered in the dial center for extra sparkle. Both models have diamonds on the bezel, lugs, crown and buckle; the standard model totals just over 2 carats of diamonds, and the snow setting model totals just over 2.4 carats, the company said.
The watch uses a 34.9 millimeter 18K red gold case and is powered by Blancpain’s in house caliber 1163L automatic movement, offering about 100 hours of power reserve. A sapphire crystal caseback reveals Geneva stripe finishing and other movement decorations.
Blancpain said the two Nude Moka options join the Ladybird Colors palette that already includes royal purple, raspberry pink, lilac, midnight blue, coral blue, apple green, peacock green, forest green, turquoise and lemon sherbet yellow, allowing the collection to present both vivid and understated expressions of the line’s feminine character.
Pricing is listed in Swiss francs. The snow setting model is approximately $43,800 (originally 39,100 CHF). The non snow setting model is approximately $34,200 to $36,000, depending on the buckle option (originally 30,500 CHF to 32,100 CHF).
