Jisoo Met Gala makeup stole the show when she made her Met Gala red carpet debut in a custom Dior gown and vintage Cartier jewelry, helping BLACKPINK turn heads at the 2026 event.
Jisoo Met Gala makeup, the “flower fairy” debut
All four members of BLACKPINK attended the 2026 Met Gala, and Jisoo made her first appearance on the event’s red carpet in a Dior custom sequin and embroidered gown paired with vintage Cartier jewelry, a look her team compared to a modern day princess.
A stylist for Jisoo, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said the full look took about five hours to assemble, including hair that was swept back with two curled tendrils left loose and a pink floral headband that matched the gown.

Base and glow: the foundation behind the Jisoo Met Gala makeup
To create the poreless, lit from within skin Jisoo wore on the red carpet, the team used Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation, a formula Dior says blends skincare actives with makeup performance.
According to Dior, the foundation features a “triple skincare complex” that includes hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and peptides, and it is designed to offer 24 hours of wear and up to 48 hours of hydration, while remaining lightweight and buildable for medium to high coverage.

A makeup artist who worked on Jisoo, and who was not authorized to speak publicly, said the team applied the foundation with thin layers and targeted concealing to preserve translucence under intense event lighting and close‑up photography. The result reads as natural skin, with a soft luminous finish that holds under flash photography.
Eye makeup details used in the Jisoo Met Gala makeup
Jisoo’s eye makeup followed a soft, floral palette. The team started with the Dior 5 Couleurs Couture eyeshadow palette in shade 429 Toile de Jouy to build warm pink brown depth, then layered the 743 Rose Tulle tone to add a dried rose and pink fusion that both enlarges and rounds the eye shape.
For the inner eye highlight the makeup artist tapped Diorshow On Stage eyeliner in 006 Pearl Star, dotting a fine, pearlescent point at the inner corner to catch light, a technique Dior describes as creating a star like reflection under strong event lighting.

Glossy lips: the final touch of Jisoo Met Gala makeup
The finishing product for Jisoo’s look was Dior Addict Mirror Shine in shade 405 Rosy Dior. Dior says the formula is a 90 percent oil based stick that melts on contact with lip temperature, delivering a mirror like gloss without heavy residue.
According to Dior, the formula contains hyaluronic acid microbeads for up to 48 hours of hydration and cranberry oil to support the lip barrier, producing a plump, fresh appearance that pairs with the pink tones in her gown.

To reproduce Jisoo Met Gala makeup at home, the artist recommended layering the foundation thinly, using a neutral warm transition shade in the crease, adding the pearlescent inner corner with a fingertip, and finishing with one to two swipes of the rosy mirror gloss.

Whether you call it a fairy like debut or a modern princess moment, Jisoo Met Gala makeup relied on balanced technique and a small selection of products, emphasizing skin clarity, soft pink tonal layering on the eyes, and a glossy, hydrated lip finish.
