Prada movie exhibit fans can step into six life size sets inspired by the Runway world at Pacific Place, the mall said, with installations open from April 29 to May 17.
Prada movie exhibit lands at Pacific Place
Pacific Place (a luxury shopping complex in Admiralty) turned its LG1 Garden Court into an immersive Runway experience to coincide with the film release, the mall said in a statement. The Prada movie exhibit recreates iconic film moments and invites visitors to pose in cinematic sets modeled after an editorial office, a reception desk, and a New York subway scene.
1. Nearly 6.6 foot red stiletto centerpiece
The focal installation is a pair of red stiletto shoes nearly 6.6 feet tall, positioned in the mall atrium to catch the eye. The sculpture measures about 2 meters and sits on a faux red carpet so visitors can photograph a movie style arrival moment.

2. Runway reception desk with audio cues
The reception desk set recreates the high tempo, exacting atmosphere of an editorial office. Visitors who pick up the desk telephone will hear classic lines from the film, including the on screen prompt “Don’t Miss Any Calls!,” Pacific Place said.

3. Miranda’s office, complete with editorial boards
The editorial office set reconstructs the commanding yet restrained style of the magazine’s editor in chief. The space features planning boards and framed stills from the film so visitors can sit in the editor chair and photograph a power pose.

4. Elevator photo studio recreates a key scene
The exhibit includes an elevator photo studio modeled on a signature film moment between Miranda and Andy. Guests who register and meet the shopping requirement can take a magazine style photograph and download an electronic copy to keep.

5. Runway style newsstand with New York street vibe
The newsstand corner channels New York street energy with retro racks, headline props, and a sun shaded photo spot for street style shots. Visitors are encouraged to put on sunglasses and pose in front of the vintage set to capture a magazine ready look.

6. Immersive New York subway scene
The final set reimagines a New York subway platform with brick red walls, iron railings, and old fashioned street lamps to create an urban photo backdrop. Standing on the stairs or beside the subway sign gives visitors a sense of city rush while the exhibit soundtrack and film lines heighten the cinematic effect.

Be Devilishly Fashionable—The Devil Wears Prada 2 themed installations
Dates: from April 29 to May 17. Location: Pacific Place LG1 Garden Court. Pacific Place said the exhibit ties to the film release and offers multiple photo opportunities and set pieces inspired by Runway magazine, the fictional title used in the movie.
To use the elevator photo studio, visitors must register as a Pacific Place Above member and show same day electronic receipts totaling HK$300 or more, Pacific Place said. HK$300 is about $38.
Pacific Place recommended arriving early on weekends to avoid queues and noted that installations are free to view, with the photo studio subject to registration and availability.
