This season, the house uses cashmere, silk, and Merino wool to let color do more than sit on the surface, allowing hues to weave naturally through the textiles. The palette centers on warm sand, neutral tones, and cream, with accents in red, calendula, teal, and blue to balance calm and vivid notes. Reversible coats with soft lines envelop sheath dresses and use contrasts of length to create a lengthening silhouette, while open-front pieces in looped terry-like fabric add soft layers. Some tailoring borrows elements from menswear, bringing sharp shoulders and straight trousers into womenswear.
A short double-breasted jacket in a silk called Cash pairs with wide-leg trousers, shorts, or long skirts to create varying proportions; striped motifs and a Punto Milano double-breasted coat in a cotton and wool blend hint at nautical influence, adding direction to clean lines. The collection balances cut and structure so fabrics retain a soft hand while maintaining defined silhouettes.
This season Loro Piana revisits and enriches the color story of its classic knits and launches two new cashmere families: the Sergio line, featuring refined, elegant pieces, and the Cedar Treccia line, which showcases braided knit craftsmanship.
