MAX&Co. x Sami Miró Becoming Undone Capsule Spring Summer 2026

“Every woman has boundless potential,” is the spirit behind Italian label MAX&Co. and Los Angeles designer Sami Miró’s spring and summer 2026 collaboration. The “Becoming Undone” capsule blends Miró’s deconstruction aesthetic with MAX&Co.’s Italian craftsmanship to celebrate multifaceted modern womanhood.

“Becoming Undone” embraces imperfection

MAX&Co. teamed with Los Angeles designer Sami Miró to create the “Becoming Undone” capsule, a wardrobe aimed at the many sided contemporary woman: entrepreneurial, smart, elegant, and vibrantly healthy. The collection turns those qualities into garments that can be worn, felt, and lived in every day. It is both a stylistic meeting and a new interpretation of modern femininity.

Inspiration from the hidden details inside garments

The “Becoming Undone” concept draws from the often hidden inner details of garment construction. Deconstructed cuts, raw edges, exposed stitching, and sculptural supports interact to create a crisp modern silhouette that unites utilitarian thinking and feminine softness.

The collection includes several wardrobe essentials, such as tailored blazers, jeans, cotton t shirts, and sweatshirts. Pieces are multifunctional and expressive, allowing seamless transitions from day to night when worn in tone on tone or layered. Contrasting shoulder lines and cinched waists underscore the balance of strength and grace.

Z : What concept do you want to convey with the “Becoming Undone” collaboration with MAX&Co.?
S : “Becoming Undone” captures the collaboration’s core spirit, whether building or letting go, with both power and poetry. It represents a mode of self expression that embraces imperfection as a natural part of creation. The name also symbolizes the fusion of MAX&Co.’s Italian refinement and my willingness to challenge conventions. It speaks to change, confidence, and the many ways a person can show their true self, said Sami Miró.

Z : How did the collaboration with MAX&Co. unfold, and what did you experience from the team?
S : This was an inspiring, truly co creative experience. We started by sharing ideas and inspirations, then built a shared language that combined both aesthetics. From sketches to fabrics to structural techniques, we honored each other’s design principles while daring to innovate. As a self taught designer who works by instinct and often steps outside tradition, it meant a great deal for my ideas to be so genuinely welcomed. The team not only supported my approach, they also gave me room to challenge norms, so the pieces are both inventive and wearable, said Sami Miró.

Z : Do you have advice for emerging designers who want to build their own brand?
S : First, do what you truly want to do, the thing you wake up eager to work on each day. That makes the work meaningful, and that matters. You might say you want everything, but in my view, priorities and steady improvement are more important. Focus your efforts and make things better. For anyone starting a business, choose the area you are truly passionate about, and be careful not to spend money wastefully. Use resources with restraint and strategy, said Sami Miró.
